Each school must register at least one lead teacher for the participating students.

Yes! The lead teacher will receive a single access to work with students, but groups of teachers can collaborate in teams with students. This type of teamwork is exactly what we encourage in schools!

Absolutely! Teams of students from different grades within the same school can work together. However, you must register the team under the highest grade level. For example, if your group includes students from Grades 6 and 7, you should register them as Grade 7.

No, registration is ONLY possible through a school and a lead teacher.

Each school can submit projects from a maximum of three grade levels.

Yes, you need to login, participate in the Forum, complete the respective challenges, and work with the Science Bits content.

By the end of each phase, and no later than March 14, 2025, participants must submit a final project document and a presentation video.

A jury of experts and educators will choose the winning projects. Some of the selected proposals by the jury may also be featured in the closing event, which will be broadcast live on YouTube.

The jury will consider several factors, including originality, presentation quality, scientific rigor, local impact, creativity, innovation, and/or teamwork.

All submitted work must be original. The use of AI is not permitted.

Yes, Award Certificates and the relevant prizes will be provided directly to the schools. Completion Certificates will also be issued to all participating schools that submit a final project.

The competition is open to students in Grades 5 to 9, who should be between 10 and 16 years old. Teachers must select the appropriate grade group during registration: Elementary, Grade 6, Grade 7, Grade 8, or High School. If a team includes students from different grade levels, the highest grade must be chosen during registration.

Teachers must have internet access at their school, along with at least one computer and a TV, projector, or interactive whiteboard to work with students and access the Science Bits materials.

You will also need a device such as a cellphone, camera, or video camera to record and produce the final video presentation, which must be submitted at the end of the challenge.

Participation is completely free. There is no cost whatsoever for schools that participate.
